HOLYOKE MASSACHUSETTS

MAINVILLE AND DAUPHINAIS 

Melvina Dauphinais, daughter of Paul and Henrietta Dauphinais, was born in Canada 1862 and married Narcisse Mainville at the age of 18.  Narcisse immigrated to Canada in 1874 and is the son of Jean-Baptiste Mainville & Angelique Bruette. 

Melvina and Narcisse moved to Montreal shortly after they were married and from this union produced 8 of of Mr. & Mrs. Paul Dauphinais and Mr. & Mrs. Jean-Baptiste Mainville 's grandchildren.

Marriage Reference: Narcisse Mainville m. on 7 Sept. 1880 in the Precious Blood Parish in Holyoke, Hampden County, MA to Malvina Dauphinais -  (needs confirmation) ie: who is mother Henrietta Prejean ?  (ask George)

Narcisse & Melvina Mainville's children were all born in Canada.

In 1901, Narcisse Mainville (age 28) was listed in the Canadian Census living in Canada's 158th District of Joliette, ( Sub-District I) in Ste. Emilie. 

In 1962, Narcisse and family, Melivina, Raoul, Louise, Senior, Narcisse Jr., Henri, Delia, Liane, and Rose were still living in Canada. Reference:  (ask George)
